Job description

Oversees and guides the daily operations of SOP-driven lab bench work at customer facilities. Coordinates task allocation and streamlines workflows. Contributes operationally to the activities coordinated. Collects, documents, and organizes data and observations, ensuring clarity and accessibility for review and analysis by research teams. Collaborates extensively with internal scientific support teams and customer contacts. Acts as the customer's point of contact, facilitating communication and understanding across disciplines to meet customer's needs., We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Facilities Management Support Coordinator to support operational and inventory activities across Production, Quality Control (QC), and Facilities functions at our client's site in Nijmegen.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory replenishment, material ordering, warehouse interactions, stock management, material movement, vendor coordination, and operational support activities that are critical to the smooth running of the facility. Working within a scientific and regulated environment, you will ensure materials, consumables, and supplies are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting operational continuity.

This is a varied, hands-on position that combines logistics coordination, inventory management, facilities support, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring efficient operations while delivering excellent service to internal customers across the site., * Manage Production and QC inventory replenishment activities.

  • Process Production and QC material orders.
  • Coordinate warehouse requests and material retrieval activities.
  • Restock laboratory and production consumables.
  • Manage disposable inventory and gowning replenishment.
  • Support incoming goods receipt and document control activities.
  • Coordinate material movements between site locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock management initiatives.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly cleaning activities.
  • Coordinate vendor visits and escort activities as required.
  • Support facilities operations and provide cross-functional support to Production, QC, and other departments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and service quality., This role is based within a scientific and operational environment and involves regular interaction with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, Facilities teams, and external vendors. The position requires a hands-on approach to inventory management, material handling, logistics coordination, and facilities support activities., * Diverse responsibilities across inventory management, logistics coordination, and facilities support.

Requirements

  • Experience within logistics, warehouse, inventory management, facilities support, or operational environments is preferred.
  • Experience handling dangerous goods and/or cryogenic materials is advantageous.
  • Experience working in accordance with ADR regulations is desirable.
  • Experience supporting scientific research organisations, laboratories, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Experience working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Understanding of inventory management processes and operational workflows.
  • Awareness of how teams interact internally and externally to support wider business objectives.
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Experience using inventory, warehouse, or business management systems.
  • Proficiency in data capture, analysis, and reporting using various IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
