Job description

  • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and help build technical direction
  • Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
  • Help identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues
  • Build tooling and automation to reduce operational burdens
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an encouraging team culture

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of professional backend engineering experience
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, Go, Scala, Node.js)
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of databases - relational and/or NoSQL
  • Experience developing with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies, including tools such as Argo CD
  • Experience working with monitoring platforms like New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Exposure to infrastructure and deployment tooling such as Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • A collaborative approach and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity, a growth mindset, and a dedication to continuous learning
