Our client, a leading global banking organisation, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile Identity & Access Management (IAM) programme. This role will focus on improving access governance, role modelling, entitlement reviews and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with Technology, Cyber Security and business stakeholders, you will gather requirements, analyse access management processes and support the delivery of IAM solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities IAM BA:

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications and process documentation.
• Work with business application owners to understand, document and validate roles, permissions and entitlements.
• Analyse current access models and support role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD) and least privilege initiatives.
• Develop test strategies, test plans and test cases, supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Present proposed solutions and findings to business and technology stakeholders.
• Produce project status reports, identify risks and escalate issues where appropriate.
• Perform SQL-based analysis and use Excel to support data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technology teams and Cyber Security SMEs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across IAM processes and controls.

Essential Skills & Experience IAM BA:

• Strong Business Analysis experience within Identity & Access Management (IAM) programmes within Financial Services and Banking.
• Excellent understanding of IAM processes including:

• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Least Privilege
• Entitlements
• Access Governance
• Account Remediation

• Experience working with business application owners to define and document roles and permissions.
• Strong understanding of security and regulatory frameworks including NIST, COBIT, EBA ICT, FFIEC and FCA guidance.
• Experience producing BRDs, Functional Specifications, process maps and testing documentation.
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering technology or cyber security change within complex enterprise environments.

Desirable

• Financial Services or Investment Banking experience.
• RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle (IGL).
• Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
• Access Certification.
• Operational Risk, Internal Controls and Audit experience.
• Role Modelling and Access Remediation projects.
