SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Consultant

Hanson regan are for a SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Consultant for a 6 month renewable contract based in Belgium

SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA ERP migration program. The consultant will play a key role in the design, build, testing, and deployment of SAP RAR capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with Order-to-Cash processes and compliance with revenue recognition requirements.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on SAP RAR expertise, proven experience integrating SAP SD with RAR, and practical knowledge of custom fulfillment events within complex SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP RAR design and implementation activities within the ERP migration program.

Configure and support SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting processes in SAP S/4HANA.

Define and implement integration between SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and SAP RAR.

Analyze and implement custom fulfillment events and event-based revenue recognition requirements.

Support solution design workshops and translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including OTC, Finance, Integration, Testing, and Business stakeholders.

Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

Ensure solution alignment with SAP best practices and overall ERP program architecture.

Provide knowledge transfer and documentation as required.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).

Proven experience implementing SAP RAR in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Deep understanding of SAP SD integration with RAR.

Experience defining and configuring custom fulfillment events.

Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition processes.

Experience supporting testing cycles and defect management.

Ability to work independently in a complex global transformation program.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in large-scale ERP transformation or migration programs.

Experience working in global, multi-vendor delivery environments.

Knowledge of SAP Finance and adjacent OTC processes.
