The school is seeking a confident, analytical, and highly organised Data Officer to manage and maintain the school's data systems., * Managing and updating the school's MIS (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom)
- Producing data reports for SLT, governors, and middle leaders
- Analysing student progress, behaviour, attendance, and attainment trends
- Supporting assessment cycles, data drops, and target-setting
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student data across all systems
- Supporting exams administration with candidate data, entries, and timetables
- Training staff to use MIS and data tools effectively
- Ensuring GDPR compliance and maintaining confidential records
- Supporting census returns and local authority data submissions
- Working closely with pastoral, curriculum, and admin teams to maintain data accuracy
Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who is analytically minded, comfortable with data systems, and highly reliable.
- Previous experience in data management, MIS administration, or similar role
- Strong IT and data-handling skills
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational ability
- Confident with Excel and data reporting tools
- Ability to handle confidential student records responsibly
- Understanding of assessment processes and school data cycles (desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
