Job description

You will support the smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations, working closely with the Exams Officer and senior leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the administration of GCSE and A-Level exam entries
  • Liaising with examination boards to ensure compliance with JCQ regulations
  • Preparing seating plans, candidate registers and exam documentation
  • Coordinating invigilator timetables and supporting recruitment where required
  • Processing results data and assisting with analysis reports
  • Managing post-results services including enquiries about results

The role also includes supporting wider school data processes, maintaining accuracy across student records and assisting with reporting cycles.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly during peak exam periods., * Previous experience in school administration, exams or data roles

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong IT proficiency, including MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom)
  • Calm under pressure and highly reliable
  • Clear and professional communication skills

Experience of JCQ regulations would be highly desirable.
