Job description

- Network, We are a well-known consultancy offering an onsite Network Engineer opportunity in Crewe for an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35, with a day rate of up to £511.94. This role sits within our Network Operations Centre, where we support a variety of private and public sector clients across complex environments. It offers the chance to work on a mix of run and project activities alongside other network analysts, while developing both individual and collective capabilities. Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment checks.
Requirements
- We require you to be eligible for or hold SC clearance and be a sole UK national.
- You should have a proven track record supporting enterprise networks, backed by valid networking technical certifications.
- You should have in-depth experience supporting Cisco ACI software-defined networks, including multi-site and multi-pod environments.
- You should have experience supporting firewalls such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, and AnyConnect Remote Access.
- You should have experience supporting enterprise Wi-Fi technologies, including Cisco WLC or similar platforms.
- You should be able to troubleshoot and fault-find routing issues, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- You should have a deep understanding of networking protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
