Deliver first-line IT support, responding to incidents and service requests received via telephone and the IT support desk
Provide excellent customer service and technical support to users
Install, configure, and maintain computer software, operating systems, and applications
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems within agreed service levels in a professional and customer-focused manner
Support the rollout and implementation of new applications
Set up new user accounts and profiles, and assist with user access management

Good knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office, routers, and networking
Some knowledge of, or experience with, one or more of the following is desirable: VMware, Citrix, SAN/NAS storage, firewalls, and Linux
Experience with industry-standard IT systems is desirable. Full training will be provided on our bespoke in-house systems, * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose system and network issues and identify appropriate solutions
Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible approach to working hours, Relevant qualification in computing, information technology or a related discipline (e.g. degree, HND, or apprenticeship) or equivalent practical experience
