Job description
Working as part of a collaborative development team, you will:
- Develop and maintain commercial mobile applications using .NET MAUI and Xamarin.
- Investigate and resolve issues across both mobile and backend codebases.
- Design, develop and enhance new functionality.
- Build high-quality, maintainable and scalable code.
- Optimise application performance and improve existing components.
- Work closely with fellow developers to deliver projects within agreed timescales.
- Contribute ideas and technical improvements across the development lifecycle.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice.
Requirements
This is a hands-on senior development role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving application performance and working across both mobile and backend technologies., * 6+ years' commercial C#/.NET development.
- Recent commercial experience building applications with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin Forms.
- Strong knowledge of the MVVM design pattern.
- Commercial experience with XAML.
- Experience developing custom controls and UI components.
- Experience using custom renderers and/or handlers.
- Experience integrating or binding third-party native SDKs into Xamarin or .NET MAUI applications.
- Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
