Job description

  • Work with clients to determine requirements and define the scope and objective, planning time scales and resources needed.
  • Assisting in identifying bugs/problem and working within or other teams to resolve issues as required.
  • To create and implement test plans and scripts/strategies for Manual and Automation models
  • To create and develop appropriate documentation and test cases to support various business applications.
  • Understanding various deliverables and design requirements within the various projects.
  • To define and implement a Test Automation Framework
  • To understand and provide inputs to the Automation Test Strategy, ensure all testing requirements in terms of documentation and systems are available to the Test teams.
  • Able to take ownership were needed within various projects and resolving issues within given deadlines.
  • To attend QA meetings, daily scrum meetings and be responsible for test summary report
  • Support and mentor junior or new members via knowledge transfer where required within the process when required.
  • Supporting and administrating key aspects of technical support within business as requires.
  • Able to adapt changes within various information change process with the various projects.
  • To set-up the environment and architecture for Automation and be responsible for the software installations
  • Provide Business Requirement using validation process to meet overall business objectives with given SLA.
  • To participate in reviews, manage high priorities and advance time releases of software.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 - 6 years experience in ETL testing, report testing, UAT and regression testing

  • Understanding and proven experience of day to day testing process, test planning and operations/system functions.

  • Strong Experience using Java Script and front end development tools.

  • Working knowledge in Advanced OOP concepts, Design Patterns, and Software Engineering best practices

  • Ability to identify various test scenarios along the different projects.

  • Scripting languages: Java,C++ and Javascript.

  • Familiar with Automaton test scripts using Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber JVM

  • Experience of working with application and report testing.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, and in improving the existing processes

  • As an Automation Tester, you will be joining a team of talented Experience in determining estimates for test delivery.

  • Ability to sort out the bugs based on the test cases.

  • Experience of supporting software test analysis.

  • Analysis and Troubleshooting of different testing tools.

  • Experience in an Agile and SDLC, STLC methodologies

  • Participation in continuation integration of various builds using SQL.

  • Experience in functional and system testing.

  • Knowledge of developing and executing various SQL quires with database.

  • Knowledge of automation testing tools

  • Knowledge of automation testing tool QTP and also with Winrunner.

  • Experience of writing tests using Java

  • Experience in developing test plan and case.

  • Knowledge of documenting carious defects issues.

  • Exposure to HTML, Xml and Java script

  • Experience in managing Data Driven Frame works

  • Working experience of Cucumber and Selenium

  • Knowledge of Regression and Exploratory testing

  • Experience of Performance testing to meet QA standards

  • In depth knowledge within IT Business requirement gathering, software testing, focus on Automated Testing Strong skills with Java and C#

  • Experience of undertaking Business Definition Documentation and Functional Testing utilising Cucumber, Selenium and SoapUI

  • Experience with simulation and testing various test cases.

  • Automation of Sanity, Regression and Performance test scripts

  • Able to generate Reports from the software management tool.

  • Adaptable and keen to learn new testing tools and methodologies

  • Previous experience of working with shell scripting techniques.

  • Positive contribution to business performance

  • Experience web-based test/defect management tools

  • Trace, record and resolve the bugs during test execution.

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent industry level experience

  • Good experience with Microsoft Office 365 , Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Mobile phone technologies

  • Candidate should have excellent communication (written and verbal) and client engagement skills

  • Preparation of appropriate documentation of testing techniques for future reference

  • Candidate should be ready to deliver high quality outputs in tight timelines

  • University degree in engineering or Information technology (IT)

  • Master's Degree in IT will be an added advantage.
