SC Cleared Windows Server Upgrade Engineer - London (50% Onsite) - Windows Server Migration, Active

We are looking for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer with a proven track record of delivering large-scale Windows Server upgrade and migration projects. You will play a key role in upgrading enterprise environments through multiple Windows Server versions, ensuring minimal disruption while modernising critical infrastructure.

• Current and active SC Clearance is essential
• Extensive experience delivering Windows Server upgrade and migration projects
• Proven experience upgrading environments across multiple Windows Server versions (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server architecture and administration
• Excellent experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
• Experience planning, testing and executing in-place upgrades and migration strategies
• Strong understanding of server lifecycle management and infrastructure transformation
• Experience performing compatibility assessments, remediation and cutover planning
• PowerShell Scripting for automation and deployment
• Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Strong troubleshooting skills throughout complex migration programmes
• Experience working within enterprise ITIL environments

TrinIT Talent are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Windows Server Upgrade Engineer to join a major Windows Server transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract. This role is Inside IR35, paying £500 per day, and requires 50% onsite working in London.
