Job description

As part of its continued strategic development, the school is seeking a skilled and analytical Data Manager.

The Data Manager will oversee all aspects of student data management and reporting. This role is central to school improvement, ensuring that leaders have accurate and timely information to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the school's MIS system (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom)
  • Producing detailed attainment, progress, and attendance reports
  • Coordinating assessment cycles and reporting windows
  • Submitting statutory returns including the School Census
  • Supporting exam data imports and results analysis
  • Maintaining data integrity and ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Training staff in data-entry processes and reporting tools
  • Working closely with SLT and Governors to present data summaries
  • Identifying performance trends and supporting intervention planning
  • Managing timetabling data and student groupings

The role requires high levels of precision, analytical thinking, and strong IT proficiency.

Requirements
