Job description

Own and manage the full product lifecycle for data and analytics products within a major UK telecommunications company.

  • Define, maintain, and communicate product strategy and roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into scalable data products, actionable insights, and reporting solutions.
  • Drive product vision, prioritization, and value delivery across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical/data delivery teams.
  • Gather, challenge, and refine requirements through workshops and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage product backlogs, user stories, and sprint planning in Agile environments.
  • Lead backlog refinement, delivery governance, and ensure adoption of Agile best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensure products meet business, technical, and data governance standards, supporting validation and QA processes.
  • Promote the use of reusable, governed, and scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Utilize platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platform, and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
  • Use delivery and collaboration tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
  • Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage experience in SQL, data warehousing, data modelling, and reporting governance.
  • Preferred: Experience with Python, SAFe Agile, and data product management frameworks.

Requirements

Qualifications: Degree or equivalent, with SAFe, Scrum, Agile, or Data & Analytics/Product Management certifications preferred.
