Job description

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll join a team delivering secure digital solutions for Defence and National Security customers. Working alongside architects, engineers and consultants, you'll help build and support mission-critical infrastructure where security, reliability and operational effectiveness are paramount.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build and support secure infrastructure across complex environments.
  • Administer and optimise VMware, Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Support Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud services.
  • Drive Secure by Design principles across projects and platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments and operational processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical leadership to customers and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to solution design, bids and business growth activities.

Requirements

Work on technology that directly supports Defence and National Security. We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with VMware, Windows, Linux and secure cloud infrastructure experience. You'll design, build and support secure digital platforms for Defence and National Security organisations. Permanent role, up to £85,000 plus benefits, based in Farnborough. You must be able to commute to site five days per week, hold sole UK nationality and possess, or be eligible to obtain, SC/DV clearance., * VMware vSphere, vCenter and VCF.
