Job description

As the IT Support Engineer, you will provide first- and second-line support across the school, ensuring systems, devices, and classroom technology operate smoothly. You will work closely with teaching and support staff, responding to issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of service and security., * Providing responsive IT support to staff and students

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Supporting classroom technology, AV equipment, and interactive displays
  • Managing user accounts, devices, and permissions
  • Assisting with system maintenance, updates, and security procedures

Requirements

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically confident IT Support Engineer to join a welcoming independent school in Basingstoke. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting staff and pupils across the school, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and delivering excellent day-to-day IT support in an educational environment., * Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer or IT Technician role

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting end users in a busy environment
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
