Job description

  • Maintaining and developing the school's Management Information System (SIMS/Arbor/ISAMS)
  • Producing regular data reports for senior leadership, heads of department, and governors
  • Managing assessment cycles, data drops, progress tracking, and academic monitoring
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and secure handling of sensitive student data
  • Supporting teachers with the use of data tools and reports
  • Overseeing census returns and statutory data submissions
  • Creating dashboards, analytics, and performance visualisations
  • Ensuring accuracy of student, timetable, and attendance records
  • Troubleshooting MIS issues and liaising with external technical support
  • Training staff in MIS usage and data entry standards

Requirements

The school is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of school-wide data., This role requires a proactive mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly., * Prior experience in a data management role (ideally education sector)

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
