Job description

  • Build and develop responsive websites
  • Turn supplied designs into accurate, user-friendly digital experiences
  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites
  • Create custom functionality and improve existing platforms
  • Support ecommerce projects, including WooCommerce websites
  • Test websites across different devices and browsers
  • Manage website updates, fixes and ongoing maintenance
  • Support hosting, deployment and general technical queries
  • Work with the wider team to keep projects moving and delivered to a high standard
  • Keep up to date with new tools, technologies and development best practice

Requirements

  • At least two years commercial web development experience
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with PHP
  • WordPress development experience
  • Experience with Git or another version control system
  • Experience with responsive website development
  • Experience with website hosting, cPanel and deployment
  • Experience with WooCommerce or another ecommerce platform
  • Experience building websites from supplied designs
  • Experience with cross-browser testing and website performance
  • Knowledge of Laravel, React, Vue or MySQL would be an advantage
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Communicates well
  • Enjoys working as part of a creative team
