Job description

We are seeking an (Entry Level) IT Helpdesk to oversee our company's technology operations. The role will be responsible for coordination and resolution of issues related to the Branch's banking systems and maintenance of the Branch's IT/AV equipment., This role will support and help manage the company's IT assets, including computers, printers, and other office equipment. Responsibilities primarily include setting up devices, carrying out routine maintenance, and performing basic troubleshooting. Basic IT knowledge is required (For example, the applicant should be able to identify PC parts); however, training will be provided where necessary. Most importantly, a willingness to learn and support day-to-day operational need is essential.

  • Track and manage IT/AV assets inventory
  • Perform basic IT support (L1)
  • Assist employees with basic technical questions and provide guidance
  • Support employees in adhering to IT security policies and procedures, offering guidance and training where required.
  • Coordinate with in-house security and technical personnel as well as outside vendors
  • Assist with routine IT issues and ensure they are resolved promptly within the organization

Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of computer networking concepts such as LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with desktop support across multiple operating systems including Windows (7/10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and remote support tools like SCCM or ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory management and user account administration.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques for desktops and laptops.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to operating systems and common enterprise applications.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
  • Analytical skills for diagnosing technical problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as Jira or BMC Remedy is advantageous but not essential.

Desirable Skills

  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Basic understanding of networking (DHCP/IP Subnet)
  • Excel VBA
  • Powershell, Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree or higher in any subject
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required; fluency in Korean is preferred
  • Independent and motivated team player, ability to deal with wide scope of demands under pressure

Advanced IT knowledge is not required, as training will be provided, but a willingness to learn and support daily operational needs is essential.
