Software Systems Engineer

We are looking for graduates and early-career software engineers who enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies and working as part of a collaborative engineering team. You will help develop the software platform that underpins IBM FlashSystem, gaining hands-on experience building enterprise software while working alongside experienced mentors and engineers who will support your technical and professional development. This is an opportunity to develop your technical skills, contribute to real customer-facing products and build a long-term engineering career within IBM., * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experiences

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.Interest in software engineering demonstrated through university, personal or professional projects.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with C, Python or other programming languages.
• Exposure to Linux environments.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Experience gained through internships, placements, university projects or open-source contributions.
