Job description

  • Design, implement, and optimise Splunk Core solutions in secure, high-availability environments
  • Develop dashboards, searches, alerts, and reports to support operational intelligence and security use cases
  • Ingest and normalise data from multiple sources across complex infrastructure estates
  • Support Splunk platform health, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Engage directly with defence and government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and secure delivery best practice

Requirements

  • Active DV clearance
  • Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Core (deployment, configuration, administration).
  • Experience working within defence, government, or other high-assurance environments.
  • Solid understanding of Splunk, networking, and log/data pipelines.
  • Comfortable working on client sites and in secure facilities.

Desirable

  • Splunk certifications (Core Certified User).
  • Exposure to SIEM, SOC, or security monitoring environments.
  • Experience integrating Splunk with cloud or hybrid platform.
