Job description
- Design, implement, and optimise Splunk Core solutions in secure, high-availability environments
- Develop dashboards, searches, alerts, and reports to support operational intelligence and security use cases
- Ingest and normalise data from multiple sources across complex infrastructure estates
- Support Splunk platform health, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Engage directly with defence and government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and secure delivery best practice
Requirements
- Active DV clearance
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Core (deployment, configuration, administration).
- Experience working within defence, government, or other high-assurance environments.
- Solid understanding of Splunk, networking, and log/data pipelines.
- Comfortable working on client sites and in secure facilities.
Desirable
- Splunk certifications (Core Certified User).
- Exposure to SIEM, SOC, or security monitoring environments.
- Experience integrating Splunk with cloud or hybrid platform.
