Job description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, commercial teams, transformation, and technology to deliver actionable insights that support business performance., * Leading end-to-end analytics projects from requirements gathering through to delivery and presentation

  • Building meaningful insights from complex datasets to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Writing complex SQL queries within a cloud-based data warehouse environment
  • Partnering with Data Engineering teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and fit for purpose
  • Supporting a major transformation programme focused on creating a single customer view across multiple data sources
  • Working closely with project and transformation teams to define analytical requirements and measure success
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Translating data into clear commercial actions that drive business value
  • Championing data-driven decision making across the wider business

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience within Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the use of CTEs and Window Functions
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft and Azure data ecosystem
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships across multiple business functions
  • Experience delivering business-facing analytics projects from inception through to implementation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commercial mindset
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams
