Job description

  • Design, develop, test and maintain high-assurance software solutions
  • Deliver secure systems whilst incorporating operational security principles throughout the development lifecycle
  • Conduct peer reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical specialists to solve complex challenges
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigations
  • Work with a range of technologies, platforms and programming languages
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Strong software development experience using languages such as C++, Java or C#
  • Experience with utility or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or Perl
  • Familiarity with development tools, testing frameworks and source control systems
  • Good understanding of software engineering best practices and secure development principles
  • Experience working across multiple operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working collaboratively within engineering teams, Please note: Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be capable of obtaining enhanced UK security clearance.
