Location: UK (multiple locations available) Level: Associate Manager (Level 8) Security Clearance: This role requires successful BPSS and SC clearance. Candidates must have 5 years' continuous UK address history (typically with no single period of 30+ consecutive days spent outside the UK) at the point of application. About Our Client

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Information Assurance specialist looking to drive governance, risk and compliance capability forward, while helping shape the next generation of cybersecurity services. Stepping into this role, you'll be recognised as a subject matter expert - leading complex assurance projects, making strategic risk decisions, and taking a hands-on leadership role in the delivery of information security initiatives. What You'll Be Doing
- Identifying and analysing cyber security risks using a range of methodologies, and advising risk owners on the best course of action
- Conducting assurance reviews against multiple standards-based compliance requirements
- Undertaking Privacy Impact Assessments
- Managing assurance lifecycle processes within live operational environments
- Producing assurance evidence and reporting for stakeholders
- Developing and implementing cyber security policies
- Evaluating security incidents and identifying trends
- Advising on security-related statutory and regulatory requirements
- Developing and delivering security awareness campaigns
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud PaaS provider (e.g. Azure or AWS)
- Strong working knowledge of information security standards and good practice (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Understanding of designing security management systems
- Experience with threat and vulnerability management systems
- Ability to assess security control designs and configurations for effectiveness in risk mitigation
- A collaborative, consultative approach with a genuine desire to help your team succeed
- Service delivery / project management experience; Agile and DevOps exposure is a plus
Nice to have:
- A track record of building trusted relationships with security stakeholders
- Experience drafting, implementing and maintaining security processes
- Experience managing the delivery of security assurance services on projects
- An interest in tracking security industry trends and emerging technology risks
