Job description

As an engineer you will provide technical leadership in defining and executing test validation strategies for next-generation embedded computing platforms and APTECH technologies (one or more areas within Camera, EVA (Edge Vision AI), Graphics, Multimedia, AI/ML, and Compute) . You will architect scalable SW stability test plans. validation solutions, automation frameworks, and quality methodologies that enable industry-leading product quality, reliability, and customer experience. The ideal candidate combines deep system-level validation expertise with strong software development skills in Python, Go, and C/C++ , enabling the development of next-generation automation infrastructure, intelligent test systems, and data-driven quality solutions across Qualcomm product portfolios., * Lead system-level validation strategy for embedded platforms and APTECH technologies (preferred domain knowledge in one more area- Camera, EVA (Edge Vision AI), Graphics, Multimedia, AI/ML, and Compute) .

  • Define and execute comprehensive test plans covering functionality, stability, reliability.
  • Architect scalable automation frameworks, validation infrastructure, and test methodologies.
  • Drive end-to-end product quality from post-silicon enablement through commercialization.
  • Lead cross-functional debug and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, drivers, middleware, and applications.
  • Develop data-driven quality metrics, dashboards, and product readiness indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional Engineering teams.
  • Drive shift-left testing, continuous integration, and automation initiatives.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple programs and product generations.

  • Mentoring, coaching, and team development., * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience., Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.

  • 12 + years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits : $157,500.00 - $236,300.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
