SailPoint IdentityNow Developer

Robert Half is proactively recruiting for upcoming SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) Developer opportunities with enterprise clients. We are seeking experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) professionals with strong SailPoint IdentityNow expertise who are interested in supporting large-scale identity governance initiatives and cloud migration projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise IAM programs focused on modernizing identity platforms, automating user lifecycle management, and strengthening security across complex environments.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) identity governance solutions.
• Configure Identity Profiles, Sources, Access Profiles, Roles, Policies, and Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle events.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom SailPoint connectors.
• Integrate SailPoint IdentityNow with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Workday, and other enterprise applications.
• Build provisioning and deprovisioning workflows and automate identity lifecycle processes.
• Configure certification campaigns, Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies, and compliance reporting.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, JDBC, web services, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Create automation using BeanShell, PowerShell, Python, Bash, and SailPoint transforms.
• Troubleshoot identity provisioning, connector, workflow, and integration issues.
• Develop technical documentation and support IAM governance and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in production support and on-call activities as needed.

• 5+ years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN).
• Experience implementing Identity Profiles, Sources, Access Profiles, Roles, Policies, Certifications, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Experience designing and supporting Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle workflows.
• Strong experience integrating Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience developing or configuring SailPoint connectors.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, JDBC, and enterprise application integrations.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, BeanShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of authentication and identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, and Kerberos.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills., * Experience migrating from SailPoint IdentityIQ or on-premises SailPoint environments to SailPoint IdentityNow.
• SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer certification.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with Workday or other HR systems.
• Experience with Agile or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
• Banking, financial services, or other regulated industry experience.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC.

• Experienced IAM professional with deep SailPoint IdentityNow development expertise.
• Has participated in or led SailPoint cloud migration initiatives.
• Comfortable developing custom connectors and automating identity lifecycle processes.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise identity governance.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
