Job description

Kforce has a client that is looking for a DevOps II to join their team in Greenwood Village, CO. Hours can be flexible, though they typically work during regular weekly business hours, and they are not usually responsible for customer/client interaction or supervising junior employees. Responsibilities:

  • Support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible) for Plume Open Sync Cloud and CBU-related updates
  • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues across AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, ALB, Route53)
  • Help with scripting (Python, Bash), configuration management (Ansible, Terraform and deployment tasks
  • Enhance monitoring and observability by supporting logging (Fluent Bit, Loki, ELK) and alerting (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana) improvements
  • Document processes and collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience with cloud-native DevOps tooling
  • Responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis
  • May work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and a receptionist

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience
  • Looking for someone with a bit more hands-on DevOps experience who can ramp quickly with minimal day-to-day guidance if possible
  • Python proficiency
  • Some Kubernetes knowledge (Helm, YAML)
  • Terraform required, Ansible is a nice-to-have
  • Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving mindset
  • Generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
