Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OTR (Over the Road) Trucking SAP Friendly Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Your expertise in managing refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials, and complex logistics will keep our operations running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to excellence on the road, we want to hear from you!, * Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards

  • Manage GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan and execute delivery routes across multiple states or regions
  • Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques, forklift equipment, or truck loading/unloading procedures
  • Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly, This role is vital in ensuring our logistics operations are efficient, compliant, and safe. Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on route driving schedules
  • Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation, tanker loads, flatbed hauling, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tractor-trailer configurations
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking
  • Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and safely
  • Experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types such as freight, hazardous materials, or specialty loads
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods
