Job description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Infrastructure Automation team. The company has over 70 million customers, and developers all over the world rely on our storage, compute, and virtualized services via AWS. Our success depends on our world-class network and hardware infrastructure; we're handling massive scale and rapid integration of emergent technologies. Our goal is to become "The Infrastructure Platform" for the world. The Infrastructure Automation team is responsible for delivering the software that powers our infrastructure., We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing internal HR applications related to employee shifts, locations, and work schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, AWS ecosystem tools, and process automation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and scale HR workflows.
Requirements
7+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
