Job description

Scientist I performs scientific experiments under the general supervision of senior scientific staff, while using independent judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Focuses mainly on problems of moderate scope, in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Contributes technical proficiency and scientific creativity. Works both collaboratively and independently., * Demonstrates potential for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought.

Requirements

  • Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. May consult with senior peers on general projects., * Advanced degree preferred.
  • Four to five years experience post bachelors degree preferred.

Benefits & conditions

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate?s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). $80,000.00 - $95,900.00
