Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, cloud platforms, and automation to support software development and deployment., * Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker containerized applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Implement logging and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Ensure infrastructure security by implementing IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance best practices.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment processes.
  • Optimize infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancers, SSL/TLS, and security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).
  • Experience with serverless technologies and microservices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Benefits & conditions

$60 - $80 an hour - Contract
