Job description

The Technology Coordinator is responsible for the daily management, support, and strategic oversight of the school's technology systems. This role ensures the effective operation of all hardware, software, and digital platforms across the school, provides hands-on technical support to staff and students, manages devices, and supports instructional technology integration. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of campus hardware and software * Manage and administer Google Workspace, FACTS SIS system and other educational platforms. Setup and onboard staff and students on the different platforms * Maintain and manage classroom technology, staff technology and student devices including but not limited to Apple computers, iPads, projectors, document cameras, printers and all applicable software * Manage and maintain student data, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer between systems * Work with vendors to manage special technology projects/installations * Provide the first line of support for vendor installed infrastructure such as the phone system and security cameras * Maintain school administrative databases and electronic inventory * Coordinate technology integration into the curriculum and support cross-curricular assignments * Assist in determining the technology direction, evaluating needs, and recommending upgrades * Setup equipment for various church functions and provide support to event coordinators as needed * Facilitate technology and software vendor relationships * Provide daily technical support to staff and students including one-on-one assistance as needed

Requirements

This position plays a vital role in ensuring reliable technology operations while advancing the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning * Bachelor's Degree in Informational Technology or related field * Demonstrable experience working with managing technology * Knowledge of schools and their technology needs * Strong experience working with data, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and data management * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Experience in IT support, system administration, and educational technology * Knowledge of both Apple and Windows technologies * Working knowledge of virtualization and GNU/Linux server administration * Knowledge of Google Workspace administration and device management systems * Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments * Strong communication skills and ability to support users with varying levels of technical proficiency
