Job description
As an IT Support Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Organization information technology infrastructure to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and efficient and provide support to all employees. Key responsibilities include developing, configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop, perimetral, user access and server operating systems (on-prem and cloud base). IT Support Specialist will also be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software problems. These duties ensure that IT systems run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall productivity of the organization., * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for user accounts, printing, email, network access, and system-related inquiries.
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Own the IT Help Desk process, ensuring timely resolution of tickets while continuously improving the user experience.
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 accounts, mailboxes, licenses, and user access.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and related technology.
- Maintain and support network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN environments and Meraki and Aruba devices.
- Monitor, investigate, and assist with cybersecurity incidents using tools such as SentinelOne, Intune, and Darktrace.
- Perform routine system administration and support server, cloud, and virtual environments.
- Manage IT hardware, software, and licensing inventories with accuracy.
- Lead technology onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support knowledge bases.
- Train users on technology tools, security best practices, and IT processes.
- Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, security, and user satisfaction.
- Participate in after-hours support, maintenance activities, and critical incident response as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Service Desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Azure.
- Experience with Intune, endpoint management, device deployment, and PC imaging.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and infrastructure support.
- Experience supporting Meraki and Aruba networking environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SentinelOne and Darktrace.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Experience supporting cloud and virtualized environments.
- Knowledge of IT service management and ticketing systems.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or ITIL.
