Job description

  • Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations.
  • In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe.
  • You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses.
  • The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP.
  • To be considered for this position, candidates must understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission essential TTO and be able to support varying schedules at times to ensure mission coverage.
  • We do our best to schedule around individual preferences, however candidates must be flexible with shift schedules.
  • Shifts range from day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145) and mid shift (2145-0545) including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support
  • Within the last 7 years, at least 5 of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications, * Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
  • FORNSAT experience is required
  • Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems
  • DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
  • Basic troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly
  • Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies

Desired Experience:

  • Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450)
  • Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451)
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python)
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 annually
