Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable business insights.
  • Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into centralized reporting solutions.
  • Build and optimize data models, ensuring scalability, performance, and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to automate data preparation and reporting.
  • Replace manual spreadsheet-based reporting with automated, standardized dashboards.
  • Create automated reporting workflows and scheduled data refreshes.
  • Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence calculations.
  • Analyze trends, gain/loss metrics, standard deviations, and abnormal data patterns.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver user-friendly solutions.
  • Ensure data quality through validation, testing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, or a related field OR Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) certification.
  • Strong experience with Power BI dashboard development.
  • Advanced proficiency in DAX, including:
  • Measures
  • Calculated columns
  • Time intelligence
  • Performance optimization
  • Data validation
  • Experience with data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and user-centered dashboard design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets.
