Job description
Location: Remote - India Work Model: Remote - Core hours 12 PM to 8 PM IST to support collaboration with European and India, As a Senior Product Designer on Hyland's Content Cloud team, you'll shape how customers access, organize, and manage their content across the Hyland Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) platform. You'll influence content federation across multiple repositories, along with the search and browse experiences that bring it all together - helping customers surface and act on their content with AI wherever it lives.

Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
- Work closely with product and engineering to build alignment, translate ambiguity into clear direction, and make smart tradeoffs that address user needs and total cost of ownership.
- Partner with researchers to translate user insights and customer needs into journey maps, stories, flows, concepts, and interactive prototypes.
- Design scalable systems - creating patterns, workflows, and interaction models that hold up across teams, products, roles, and edge cases.
- Design for AI-assisted experiences, shaping how customers discover, understand, and act on their content through AI-powered search, recommendations, and content understanding - with close attention to transparency, control, and trust.
- Drive accessibility as a first-class requirement, ensuring experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards by partnering with accessibility experts and engineering teams.
- Provide annotated design specifications and documentation that detail interaction behaviors and acceptance criteria, enabling efficient and accurate developer implementation.

Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience delivering complex enterprise software with consumer-grade usability and polish, backed by strong examples of shipped work and measurable impact.
- Proven accessibility expertise, including delivery of products meeting WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria, with experience in responsive reflow considerations and collaboration with accessibility specialists.
- Design system fluency, with experience applying and extending a component system with strong judgment around component use, consistency, and scalability.
- Proficiency with Figma, with a track record of producing interactive prototypes and clear specs that enable testing, buy-in, and ease of implementation within Agile product delivery teams.
- Strong product judgment with a proven ability to navigate tradeoffs and deliver experiences that are scalable, supportable, and efficient to build.
What We'd Like to See
- Experience designing AI-enabled products or model-driven experiences, with an understanding of key considerations including transparency, control, safety, bias, and quality.
- Deep expertise in Material Design 3 and/or Angular Material, with strong experience in responsive and adaptive layout design within Material Design-based ecosystems.
- High craft in UI and content, including strong visual design, interaction design, and microcopy writing that make complex workflows feel clear, approachable, and simple.
- Research-informed practice, with skill in translating qualitative and quantitative insights into flows, prototypes, and iterative product improvements.
- A pragmatic, steady approach with strong judgment, prioritization, and ownership - able to bring order to ambiguous and complex challenges.
