Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Compliance & Cybersecurity Analyst to support a team focused on managing security exceptions and ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards in a public cloud environment. This role will be responsible for assessing Azure services against internal policies (SPPs), managing and triaging security exceptions based on risk, and supporting compliance workflows through a ticketing system. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical and business issues, drive project timelines, and provide status reporting. Additional responsibilities include developing tracking methods for findings, conducting trend analysis, and contributing to policy documentation.
The team manages compliance and cybersecurity processes, focusing on security exceptions and enhancements in the US Gov space. They ensure operational risk is mitigated and compliance requirements are met. The role will consist of 80% collaborative work and 20% heads down.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle security exceptions related to secure feature initiatives and KPIs
- Manage compliance processes and ticketing workflows for service teams
- Participate in team meetings and capture meeting notes
- Open, manage, and close tickets within Microsoft's internal ticketing system
- Communicate cross-functionally to resolve security exceptions
- Track findings and contribute to trend analysis and reporting
- Manage and triage exceptions to security policies (SPPs) based on operational risk
- Support teams through exception handling and risk determination processes
- Drive program/project schedules and deliver regular status reports
- Develop and implement methods to track and manage compliance findings
Requirements
10+ overall years of experience in the field of Cyber Security. Ideally experience in Cyber and/or Cloud Security. o Active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance (must have a valid DD254 for both USSec and USNat) o Prior experience working in cybersecurity, compliance, or cloud security environments, ideally supporting government or high-security programs o Experience managing security exceptions, risk assessments, or compliance processes within a structured framework o Familiarity with ticketing systems and tracking tools for managing requests, incidents, or exception workflows o Previous experience supporting U.S. Government or highly regulated environments, including working within secure facilities o Strong background in process management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication o Experience analyzing data or trends to identify patterns, risks, or process improvement

- Prior Microsoft experience is preferred but not required
