Job description
We are seeking an Implementation Project Manager to lead end-to-end SaaS implementations for our government clients. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing projects from kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization.
This is a role for someone who is independent, responsible, and can see a project through to completion. You will own the client relationship, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery.
This is not a software development role. You will not be writing code. You will be the implementation expert, translating complex government use cases into structured project plans, configuring workflows, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring a successful delivery for our clients., * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables from kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization.
- Facilitate client meetings, document decisions, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Align cross-functional teams (product, engineering, customer success) to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure implementations are delivered on scope, on schedule, and within agreed quality standards.
- Lead client training, post-implementation review, and ongoing relationship management to promote adoption and long-term success.
- Travel to on-site locations as needed for client engagements (up to 15-20%).
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in client-facing SaaS implementations, enterprise software deployments, or similarly complex project management roles.
- GovTech Knowledge: Experience working with or for government organizations, municipalities, or other public sector clients is strongly preferred.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies. Ability to establish process amid ambiguity.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly across roles and seniority levels.
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, user permissions, data imports).
- Certifications: PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification is a plus but not required.
- Independence: Ability to work well under pressure and manage projects without the need for micromanagement. This is an employee-forward company that trusts its team to deliver.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 15-20% to support client engagements., Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position requires verification of U.S. employment eligibility. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
