Provide hands-on IDMS Database Administration (DBA) support for application and infrastructure databases.

Monitor, administer, and support IDMS databases following industry best practices.

Ensure database availability, reliability, and operational stability.
Database Operations & Performance
- Maintain development, test, staging, and production IDMS databases.
- Develop and maintain database operational procedures and standards.
- Enable, configure, and tune IDMS features for optimal database performance.
- Monitor database performance and generate performance reports.
- Analyze database metrics and recommend performance improvements.
- Implement performance tuning strategies within the IBM z/OS mainframe environment.
Database Design & Development Support

Advise application development and product teams on:

Best practices for database implementation

Support both native IDMS and SQL-based database environments.
