*Candidate location: No SC residency required. Candidate must reside in lower 48 states (Continental US) and comfortable working EST time zone hours., This position will provide general database management for a large high-profile project whose team brings significant experience along with an "entrepreneurial" or "startup" attitude and approach. Secondary knowledge of MS SQL Server is desirable. The team is a combination of Clemson information technology professionals, experienced consultants and Department of Health and Human Services staff, and we are seeking individuals who are highly productive, very flexible, and can work effectively in team environment where ambiguity is common. Team members are expected to contribute with minimal supervision and be self-motivated. The project demands individuals who are strong collaborators, who want to make a positive contribution to the State of South Carolina and can understand top-level goals and objectives and drive toward them.

The project will use modern technologies and modern strategies and require cooperative effort among distributed team members.

• Previous experience in health care related information technology, insurance information technology, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or social services eligibility, while not necessary, are a plus.
