As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support our business objectives and drive innovation. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Core cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba), Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, CICD skills

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices., Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
