Job description

Develop software solutions supporting digital tools used to resolve aircraft production and field issues. Design SQL database architecture, manage wireless and wired synchronization of aircraft data, and produce supporting documentation. Collaborate with engineering teams while translating higher-level mathematics and statistical modeling into functional software applications., * Develop software supporting digital tools required for aircraft production and field issues

  • Design and document SQL database architecture
  • Manage wireless and wired synchronization of aircraft data
  • Collaborate with NVH engineers throughout software development efforts
  • Communicate technical progress and project status to management
  • Translate mathematical and statistical modeling concepts into software code
  • Produce software documentation supporting development activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of experience

  • 6+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, C

  • , MS Visual C

  • , Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and .NET code development

  • 6+ years of experience with Embedded Programming in C and SQL database architecture design and development

  • Demonstrated experience developing software for medium-sized, multi-user projects involving data synchronization

  • Communicate effectively with management while collaborating in a team-oriented engineering environment

  • Translate higher-level mathematics and statistical modeling into software code

  • Work independently while managing multiple development efforts

  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

  • Preferred Skills

  • 6+ years of experience with HTML and coding/testing vehicle diagnostic-related programs

  • Working knowledge of Sikorsky IT protocols and policies
