Field Service Technician (IT Support)

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support for retail locations throughout Broward and Dade County, Florida., * Travel to assigned retail locations throughout the service territory.

• Install, configure, diagnose, and repair retail technology equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and replace defective components.
• Support Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and self-checkout equipment.
• Install and maintain:
• POS Registers
• Self-Checkout Systems
• Thermal and Laser Printers
• Barcode Scanners
• Desktop PCs and Thin Clients
• Servers
• Networking Equipment
• Phone Systems
• Pharmacy and Photo Equipment
• Perform break/fix hardware repairs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist neighboring service areas as needed.
• Participate in occasional evening, weekend, and holiday on-call support.
• Safely transport and install equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

In this role, you will travel to multiple retail locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of IT and retail technology equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, excellent customer service skills, and enjoys working independently in a field environment.

If you have experience supporting retail technology, desktop hardware, printers, or networking equipment, we'd like to hear from you., * High School Diploma or GED.

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Field Service, Desktop Support, or IT Hardware Support.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Knowledge of Windows PCs, printers, scanners, and networking equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily travel schedule.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting printers and other IT equipment (two-seat vehicles are not suitable).
• Ability to travel throughout Broward and Dade County.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally work on a ladder.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening., * Technical degree or vocational training in Information Technology.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar technical certifications.
• Experience supporting retail technology or Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Experience with hardware deployment, installation, and break/fix support.
• Basic networking knowledge.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
