Job description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting high-availability services across divisions. Oversee selection, installation, and maintenance of various applications.
Principal Duties:
- Serve as part of the development team supporting our various company divisions.
- Design, develop, test, and support high-availability software applications to support company divisions.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
- Interact with project managers and customers to understand requirements.
- Design or customize software to optimize operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and fix software performance issues.
- Make key technical decisions and effectively execute the implementation of those solutions.
- Performs additional projects and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related degree
- 5+ years of related experience.
- 5+ years' experience with C#.
- 3+ years' experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with code refactoring and rewriting.
- Experience with feature upgrades during refactoring.
- Experience with Web API use.NET Core and Entity Framework.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- Strong understanding of MS SQL Server and T-SQL programming
- Self-starter that is comfortable interacting with the business and designing\developing solutions with minimal requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working practice of industry accepted design patterns and best practices
- Mortgage Industry knowledge
- Strong understanding of REST principles
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming
- Good understanding of DevOps practices

- Angular
