Job description
Our client is seeking an Integration Developer to join a collaborative technology team supporting a major enterprise modernization initiative. This role is responsible for designing and developing modern integration solutions, web applications, and cloud-based data services that improve the flow of information across critical business systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, API development, and building scalable, secure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
- Modernize legacy integration processes by replacing batch jobs and flat-file transfers with API-driven, event-based, and automated workflows.
- Develop and support custom web applications, automation tools, and integration services that improve operational efficiency.
- Build, enhance, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and Snowflake data platforms, including data modeling and transformation processes.
- Create and maintain integration workflows using SQL, Python, dbt, Workato, REST APIs, and cloud-native services.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with software developers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable technical solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, integration specifications, and support materials to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to data governance, security, privacy, and role-based access standards.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, code reviews, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current on Snowflake capabilities, cloud technologies, integration frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously improve enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Master's degree or advanced technical certifications are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise integrations, web applications, cloud-based solutions, or data platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integration services, and automated workflows.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Workato, dbt, Airflow, or comparable data integration and orchestration technologies.
- Experience working within AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Git, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, role-based access controls, and enterprise data management principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and integration issues.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments is highly preferred.
- Experience within highly regulated industries, public sector organizations, or other complex enterprise organizations is a plus.
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support during system upgrades, deployments, or critical production events.
