Requirements
- Active TS/SCI; must be eligible and willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI w/polygraph\n
- Bachelor of Science degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience. Work experience can be used in lieu of degree/combined with education\n
- Demonstrated experience using LabVIEW and/or Python to develop automated testing scripts\n
- Demonstrated experience/training in the operation of electronic devices such as transmitters, receivers, power supplies, and audio/video recorders\n
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining automated testing systems\n
- Demonstrated experience with commercial test equipment from Agilent, Keysight, HP, Tektronix, and National Instruments to include power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, counters, power meters, signal & waveform generators, electronic loads and audio, noise, signal, modulation and power analyzers\n
- Demonstrate strong written/verbal communications, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills including willingness and ability to document and share information\n
- Able to work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor\n

Leidos is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to support a government contract in the National Capital Region (NCR). The ideal candidate will be able to develop test programs to support automated test systems for hardware primarily using LabVIEW and/or Python. The Automated Test Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining source code and the automated testing software applications\n \n Primary Responsibilities: \n \n \n
- Develop and/or modify testing scripts to automate testing and validate testing sufficiency\n
- Execute testing scripts on equipment to validate functionality and correctness\n
- Maintain hardware and software associated with the automated testing systems\n
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing automated test systems and protocols\n
- Support a software configuration management system for automated testing\n
- Maintain system architecture to ensure versatility and consistency across multiple platforms\n
- Train and assist other users with development of an automated platform training encompassing automated and manual execution of test protocols as applicable\n
- Provide input to test and system documentation, improvements to capabilities, build roadmaps, and update software as required\n
- Update or develop the documentation when necessary to support automated testing including but not limited to:\n \n
- Test and inspection requirements document\n
- Multimedia documentation for use with automated test system\n
- System documentation including specific documents pertaining to hardware and software for automated test systems\n
- Updates to test program style guide, GUI development, and architecture for existing and next generation test and measurement systems\n \n

- Attend meetings and reviews\n
- Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas, the program manager, and customer team members \n
- Communicate with external parties such as mission partners and vendors\n
