System Integration Test Engineer I

The System Integration Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and testing new software features for ADTRAN's optical transport equipment within an Agile Development team., * Develop and execute system integration test plans, test cases, and user cases to meet the requirements and prevent defects

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites
• Configure and maintain test environments, including network configurations
• Document, track, and verify defects in test management system
• Support internal and external customers
• Understand the product architecture, design, operation, and test tools
• Learn new technologies, test methods, and usage of test equipment

• BS in Computer Engineering
• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency with Python programming language or other programming/scripting languages
• Able to work at a desk majority of the day; standing in an upright position for continuous periods of time; moderate lifting 15 - 44 lbs.
• Self-motivated to achieve team goals and able to drive individual tasks to completion
• Proficient in oral and written communication
