Job description

The Lead Security Architect determines security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements. The Lead Security Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial., The Lead Security Architect plans security systems by evaluating technologies and developing policies and procedures to meet the Department of Defense (DoD) Cybersecurity standards; developing security requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards. Understands Cybersecurity frameworks and experiences in IT security assessment including Cloud environment.

Leads a group of Security Architects and advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Requirements

Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - electronic questionnaire for investigation processing)

Bachelor's degree

8 or more years of technical cyber security architecture experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies

Experience implementing Cyber Security technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Experience planning and executing of internal and external Cybersecurity audit activities

Experience in NIST or HITRUST Cybersecurity framework

Experience in in Cloud security

Work At Home requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Technical Field

CISSP or CEH or similar certification

Cloud certification
