Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Training & Standard Work Manager to join a dynamic aerospace manufacturing organization in Denver, CO. This role is a contract position with the potential for conversion, focused on developing and implementing training programs that enhance the transition from low-rate production to scalable manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to establish standardized practices and build technical training programs that empower a highly skilled manufacturing workforce.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement structured technical training programs for manufacturing personnel.
- Create onboarding, cross-training, and advanced qualification curricula.
- Establish skills matrices, certification requirements, and qualification standards.
- Develop practical evaluations and competency assessments.
- Maintain training records and qualification documentation.
- Capture existing manufacturing knowledge and convert it into standardized processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Visual Job Aids, Assembly Procedures, Training Guides, Process Flow Documentation, Checklists, and Reference Materials.
- Ensure documentation remains aligned with engineering and manufacturing process updates.
- Conduct classroom and hands-on technical training sessions.
- Coach and mentor technicians on manufacturing best practices.
- Evaluate employee proficiency and qualification readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and workforce capability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing repeatability and process consistency.

- Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, CO. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.
