Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Teamcenter Administrator / Developer for a permanent opportunity supporting enterprise engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams. This individual will serve as the primary administrator and developer for the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment, responsible for platform stability, configuration, customization, integrations, and ongoing support.

This role will play a critical part in managing and enhancing the Teamcenter ecosystem while ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, and CAD platforms. The Teamcenter Administrator / Developer will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to improve product lifecycle management processes, support workflow automation, maintain system performance, and drive best practices around governance and data standards.

This is a highly visible SME-level role requiring deep Teamcenter administration and development expertise, strong troubleshooting abilities, and experience supporting complex manufacturing and engineering environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across architecture, integrations, custom development, system administration, and business process improvement initiatives. PR $160,000-$165,000 annually.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter administration and development
  • Strong experience administering and maintaining Teamcenter environments, including servers, databases, application configurations, security, and user management
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter development tools including ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and RAC customization
  • Experience configuring data models, item types, attributes, relationships, and workflow automation processes
  • Experience supporting ECN, ECR, and change management workflows within Teamcenter
  • Experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ERP systems
  • Experience supporting integration frameworks such as T4S or PLMSI and working with APIs and web services
  • Strong knowledge of BOM structures, item master data, revision rules, and engineering change management processes
  • Experience providing Level 2/Level 3 support and troubleshooting complex system, workflow, and integration issues
  • SQL, Oracle, or MS SQL experience and familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Experience supporting PLM implementations within manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Experience with CAD integrations including NX, SolidWorks, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting Dev, Test, and Production Teamcenter environments
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for enterprise applications
  • Experience participating in system architecture planning and design discussions
  • Experience establishing PLM governance standards, data management processes, and best practices
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring junior team members or leading large-scale technical initiatives
