The SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that support enterprise collaboration, workflow automation, document management, and operational efficiency. The role supports mission requirements in secure and non-secure environments and ensures high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant's qualifications, experience, and skill sets.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, and workflows to support organizational and mission requirements.
- Customize SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML/CSS, and related Microsoft tools to improve usability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint issues, including permissions, workflows, custom pages, and site functionality, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint versions (2007/2010/2013) to modern platforms (2016/2019/SharePoint Online).
- Configure site settings, permissions, content types, columns, and views to meet business and security requirements.
- Support secure collaboration across enterprise networks, including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS-based environments.
- Create and maintain training guides, documentation, and user instructions to ensure adoption and standardization of SharePoint tools.
- Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities to automate or improve processes using SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SharePoint with other systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and continuity of operations.
Requirements

Level 35 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Level 4 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, developing, migrating, and maintaining SharePoint environments across multiple versions.

Proficiency with SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Visual Studio, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML/CSS, and Microsoft 365.

Experience configuring permissions, workflows, custom pages, libraries, and lists in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint and workflow issues.

Excellent communication skills with experience creating documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Ability to work in secure environments and support classified or sensitive operations.

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Experience supporting federal agencies, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments.

Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISM, CEH, Splunk, or Azure.

Experience with Power Platform, Microsoft automation tools, and workflow standardization.

Knowledge of AI integration or custom .NET-based enhancements for SharePoint solutions.

Clerance: Posses and maintains a Top Secret clearance., Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the generic systems analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.
